Paste a passage from a legal document or a list of citations. We check whether the cited case signatures and statute provisions actually exist - in PrawMi databases and public sources (SAOS, NSA, SN).
AI models can generate a citation that looks credible but does not exist: a made-up case signature or an article missing from a given statute. In court filings such a wrong citation can undermine the whole argument.
This tool checks the existence and currency of a citation, not its substantive relevance or interpretation. Verification covers signatures of common, administrative and Supreme Court rulings and references to Polish statute provisions.
We verify the existence and currency of a citation, not its substantive correctness. A lack of results in the checked sources does not always mean the ruling does not exist.
Analyse a document, find the opponent’s bogus citations and build your argument with an AI legal assistant.
Go to PrawMi →The tool finds case signatures (e.g. III CZP 19/23) and provision references (e.g. art. 415 kc) in the text, then checks each against the PrawMi rulings and statutes databases and public sources (SAOS, NSA, SN). Each citation gets a verdict: verified, not found, to be checked, or invalid format.
No. We only check the existence and currency of a citation - whether a given signature or provision actually exists. We do not judge whether it was used in the right context or its interpretation. That is a lawyer’s job.
The "to be checked" verdict appears when at least one external source (SAOS, NSA or SN) did not respond - no response does not mean the ruling does not exist. We then recommend a manual check on saos.org.pl, orzeczenia.nsa.gov.pl or sn.pl.
Yes, the citation verifier is fully free and requires no login. Full document analysis, finding errors in the opponent’s filing and generating arguments are available in PrawMi.
